Recently I've been working with America SCORES (support them!!), an organization that teaches inner-city youth about service and combining physical activity with learning through soccer leagues and creative writing. They use story books to engage the kids throughout a session. Here are a couple of samples:

Here's another example, for CoachingSanctuary.com. Bettina Jetter and I sat down and storyboarded this out, then I drafted it and we refined until it worked:
Here's yet another, this one I did for Town Hall Theatre in Lafayette, California: I shot and edited, interviewing the kids and using the location (interiors and exteriors) to help to tell the story:
